  • The B100/T200 Metal Damper (model P1040) is a venting accessory manufactured by Vent-A-Hood® for their range hood systems. 

    Key Features:

    • Purpose: This damper helps regulate airflow in B100 and T200 blower systems.
    • Design: It features a taller standoff, making it suitable for single blower configurations or specific multi-blower setups.
    • Maintenance: The damper can be cleaned in warm soapy water for easy maintenance.
    • Compatibility: This metal damper is designed for older hood models. Newer designs have transitioned to plastic internal dampers. For those with newer Vent-A-Hood® models, it's recommended to purchase updated blower housings with integrated plastic dampers rather than seeking this older metal damper design.

    Applications:

    • Used in hoods with a single blower
    • Employed as a third damper in older 900 CFM 3-blower configurations
    • Used in island hoods with two blowers at 600 CFM1
