  • The Switch for Fluorescent Light (model P1432) is a venting accessory designed for Vent-A-Hood® range hoods. 

    Key features:

    • Purpose: This rocker switch is a standard replacement for hoods featuring fluorescent lights.
    • Compatibility: It is not compatible with older Vent-A-Hood® models that used slide switches.
    • Installation: The switch comes complete with two leads for easy installation.
    • Design: It features a rocker-style mechanism, replacing the older slide switch design.
    • Function: Controls the on/off function of the fluorescent lights in the range hood.

    As of February 2025, this switch has been discontinued by the manufacturer. For those with newer Vent-A-Hood® models, it's recommended to check with the manufacturer or authorized dealers for current replacement options.
